What Are The Best Temperatures For A Sauna?

The ideal temperature for a sauna can vary depending on personal preference, but a range of 170 to 190 degrees Fahrenheit (77 to 88 degrees Celsius) is generally considered safe and effective. However, some saunas may operate at higher temperatures, up to 200 degrees Fahrenheit (93 degrees Celsius), and caution should be taken to avoid overexposure to extreme heat.

It is also essential to consider the humidity level in a sauna. Traditional dry saunas have low humidity, while steam or wet saunas have higher humidity. The ideal humidity level for a steam sauna is around 10-20%, while a dry sauna typically has humidity levels of 5-15%.

It is recommended that individuals using a sauna should listen to their bodies and adjust the temperature and length of time spent in the sauna according to their comfort level. Staying hydrated is essential to drinking plenty of water before, during, and after sauna use.
